ACTION BASED CHANGE
The Waterfront Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Council is committed to supporting the growth of our employees. We aim to assess our opportunities for change, implement accessible programs and initiatives in the waterfront community, and transparently measure and communicate our progress in moving towards our DEI goals over time. We believe that in order to truly understand the barriers our community members face, we must first understand their experiences in the workplace – together, we can work towards meaningful solutions.
With the needs of our community in mind, we have developed programs and initiatives to best support every employee in thriving at work and in our community.
A publicly accessible, comprehensive allyship training program. The Allyship program supports individuals in recognizing their privileges, what these privileges mean for their unique experiences in the workplace, and how one may take this valuable knowledge and turn it into effective and sustainable allyship practices in support of the waterfront community at large.
